Connectorized Cables
Unshielded Cables
Unshielded cables are manufactured of solid tinned copper covered with PVC insulation.
Shielded Plenum Cables
Shielded plenum cables are manufactured of solid tinned copper with PVC insulation. Shielded plenum
cables include an aluminum foil/mylar shielding ground wire.
Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) Cables
Primarily specified in Europe per European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) guidelines,
LSZH cables comply with building codes requiring low smoke emission standards.
Shielded Cables
Shielded cables are manufactured of solid tinned copper, covered with PVC insulation. Shielded cables
include an aluminum polyester shielding ground wire.

Connectorized Cables
These specialty cables feature a plug or receptacle on one end with a combination of two plugs, receptacles,
or stubs on the opposite end. Commonly known as “Y-cables,” these cables support the interface
between high and lower cable count equipment elements. Other types of specialty cables (e.g. dual-sided
connectors) are available upon request.
